The mascot celebration achievements are pretty dumb.

With so much information coming out so early this year and the game apparently being so far along in development maybe EA will release it early for the July 4th holiday weekend? Hint hint.

some i though interesting:

" Score a touchdown with your receiver by performing a toe-drag animation"

hmm, i wonder if they have a real toe-drag or if its like the '08 one that wasn't really a drag.

" Score a receiving, rushing, and passing touchdown with one player"

what a way to promote casual gamers to do hb/WR pass plays a lot or to sub in a HB/WR at QB.

" On a non-option play, score a TD with at least one lateral"

i guess that play with 14 laterals made an impression on EA.

" Score a touchdown with your punter in a Play Now or Dynasty Mode game."

guess they want people doing more fake punts.

" Take it "up and over" the lineman, diving into the endzone for a touchdown."

i hope they improved that animation, it didn't look that good in '08 at times.

" Return a missed field goal for a touchdown. Valid only in Play Now or Dynasty Mode."

no a surprise now they made it possible.

in the end i really don't care about achievements.

sad to see the "take 1 star to 6 star" out this year....although maybe it's the secret achievement...?

achivements are less than important.one of the biggest waste Microsoft ever came up with. Sure its cool to see it triggered everyone and a while, but it isn't anything I care about. I'd rather see them focus on much more pressing matters than this.
