We lost 2 players on defense that I can think of.
Our 2 Ends, Brown and Hannibal, and SLB, Gabe O'Neal. Return other to LBs, all 4 DBs, and both DTs.
On offense, return HB, FB, QB, 3 OLs. Lose top 2 TEs, and 2 of top 4 WRs, and center and LT.

It was just a guess on my part. I'm just saying, Ole Miss has more players with "name" recognition. Not much more by any means. I've already stated that State's roster is always messed up, and it will be again this year barring they've changed it in the last few weeks. If you haven't seen the top 7 players yet, you'll be pissed cause Dixon ain't in it meaning he's somewhere around an 84-86 OVR. I was shocked. I went back and looked at State's roster on 08 not too long ago and it was jacked up. I had to change half the roster.

I doubt EA ever took into consideration that Brown, Wesley, Johnson and whomever else were dismissed or it might be lower. One thing EA doesn't do well is the overall team thing. They might have State's team prestige a little higher by a star, but they normally get it wrong.

Brown was the most dominant player, plus Wesley was expelled, a good corner quit in Johnson, Jamon Hughes played a lot and quit, but I'm not sure State even ahd Wesley and Hughes on this past season's version.

I think Ole Miss, Alabama, and South Carolina are all very overrated in the EA ratings.

If he was any way involved in the gun thing there is no way. I don't know if they're trying to cover it up but him bailing out of school this semester puts him ineligible because I don't think he can have enough hours. I'm not sure about that but that's what a State fan told me. It will be mathematically impossible for him to regain eligibility for the fall. That's just hearsay from a State fan. The way he told me was that he was just saving face to avoid the gun controversy. I don't know if he can go to JUCO then come back or what.

Probably. I thought we were overrated when I first saw them.

I think EA rated Ole Miss based on how many stars their players were as recruits.

On a side note i don't see why Miss. State would be ranked any higher. You guys still have a terrible offense (the spring game showed no improvement). Also last year you were outscored on the season by 22 points and played a midmajor in a bowl game. I know you beat us, but that was after we had to play LSU and Florida back to back and we played by far our worst game of the season (Auburn did too when they played you).
