Does anyone know if the NCAA 09 playbooks will be gettin an upgrade? If so, does anyone have any examples?

I think I read they added about 1,000 plays and many more teams have a lot more plays in their books, like I read UF had 17 shotgun formations or something like that.

800+ new plays were added.

Rhombic did a good job talking about them in his report.

Thanks for the info. I have been dying for them to upgrade the playbooks. Does anyone have any specific info about new formations/plays?

Yeah I hope we see some more spread offense type stuff, especially a bigger variety and better working WR screens.

i believe Rhombic said the WR screens were working better, but still didn't have the WR bubble screen that teams like Texas Tech uses though.

The playbooks need to be far more realistic and dynamic. I'd love to see them come up with realistic offensive systems and terminology. I think that would teach a lot of people about the game.

I'd love a running game with a numbered hole system. A passing tree etc...

It can be a basic terminology, but it would add to the realism of the game. How there are no fade routes is beyond me.
