CPU vs CPU: is it in '09?

If you read the earlier posts in this thread, you'll see that Adam from EA (OMT) has confirmed that cpu v cpu is in. Steve OS also confirmed this from the beta copy he has.

Hopefully it hasn't been removed from the retail version that we'll get as it was one of the features that EA listed - AND the reason I've pre-ordered...disappointing it's not in the demo but that build is an earlier verison of the one at Community day plus I'm sure Steve's beta copy and the one Adam is using.

Adam - can you perhaps aleviate our concerns regarding cpu v cpu please and explain why it isn't in the demo but is in the retail game as you've said - thanks

Got an answer from Adam as to why cpu v cpu wasn't in the demo...good news is that it hasn't been pulled at the last minute from the retail version:

"Nope. It didn't get yanked at the last minute.
I'm looking at the demo and I see why CPU vs CPU doesn't work. When you press A to advance into game it gives you a popup letting you choose uniform and playbook. There is code to bypass this popup for CPU mode. This popup was restricted from the demo, so the CPU mode flow isn't working. Sorry about that. It will work in retail."

Thanks to Adam for explaining that so quickly and for giving us the re-assurance that cpu v cpu is still indeed in the game for release.
