08 ps3 patch?

Not positive how PS3 works, but if you are connected to PSN it should be automatic. That's how it works on 360.

What all did the PS3 patch fix? I never played the game after the patch came out and am considering picking it up again to tune up for 09.

On the PS3 I had to sign into PSN, load the game - it doesn't work like a normal patch..once you get into the game menu I (can't remember the exact options) went to go online and at that point it must check your version and it then asks you to download it.

Wizfan were you able to get it to work? My PS3 is set up to automatically sign into the PSN but when I went to online it didn't prompt me to download. I checked my saved data utility and didn't see anything there...

Sportsjunkie - you need to sign into PSN, load up the game and then within the game go online..try a few menu options online and it should prompt you at that point.

I never got a prompt. However, everyone said if you can play an online game after you've signed in, the patch is downloaded. The passing game is somewhat better.
