Just a thought - won't the roster file load change the equipment back to whatever is in the roster file? You may be wasting your time doing this before you have a roster file.

Yes it will overwrite all of player edits so it would be wasting time.

im going to be hanging on the beach in spain and then when i get back from vacation hopefully the rosters will be up then, if not then i will poop my pants seriously...

Familiarize myself with a spread playbook and I guess fool around with Campus Legend (not really looking forward to that, though).

Get a good feel for the game (after six straight years of PS2/Xbox versions, I'll need some time), get used to the playbooks, and tweak sliders right off the bat.

Maybe jump online to play my friends right away too.
