If college football has (more or less) a 25 second clock, why would anyone want an accelerated clock? In Madden the clock accelerates to 20, how would this possibly work in NCAA? Would the clock just accelerate the 2-3 seconds it takes to get to 20? Or, would it drop lower than that (maybe to 10?) thereby giving you no time to actually do anything pre-snap.

I just read a post where a poster said this was a no-buy because there was no accelerated clock. So I pose the question to him directly: Why would you want accelerated clock in a college game where the play clock is 25 seconds?

college rule is changed i think they use 40 now. To help shorten games.

but isn't it still 25 from play to play? that's what it seemed to be in the NCAA demo.

whoops, just looked over the rules, and it seems that it is 40 from play to play, but 25 on the first after a change of possession. nevermind then.
