What's your 360 hooked up to now?

Before I bought an hdtv, I used a 19" ws monitor w/my 360. You just need a 360 vga cable. The MS official one runs about $35-40, but 3rd party ones can be found online for as little as $10.

He's saying get an extra long cable and run it up to the XBox from downstairs, thereby bypassing the whole moving the box thing. I was gonna say that you'll probably want to upgrade somehow, anyway. Patching aside, how are you gonna get your rosters off of the EA Locker? Those aren't burnable, either. And I know you don't want to play with generic/un-named players?

Hey guys, I'm moving and I'm not going to have a wireless router. I just use a laptop and have a wireless broadband adapter. Will I be able to run the ethernet cable from the console to my laptop?

So you're going to get a wireless signal to your laptop? From where?

Sierra broadband. You know the commercials where you can take your laptop anywhere. It's through Sprint.

Nope. Your ethernet jack is an in port, so to speak, as is the slot you plug your aircard into. Both feed signal to your modem. The computer doesn't serve as a router, just a receiver.

Edit: I'm not sure but both your computer and the Xbox are LAN devices. It might work. Don't hold breathe, though. Still think a router needs to be in the loop.....

Technically, I believe it can be both.
