Both of you need to grow up. This has nothing to do with what company is making the game. It has everything to do with the fact that it's a big bug that affects a hell of a lot of people's enjoyment of the game contrary to your opinion.

I forgot which year it was but it was a madden that I had on the xbox that did not properly load the draft classes from NCAA. I believe it was the NCAA game with Joey Harrington on the cover. Madden would not load the draft classes so you had to mail your UPC code and I believe something from the game manual of Madden to EA and they mailed you a new game without the bug. I'm surprised more people don't remember that.

I just finished traveling and woke up to start my vacation to see that I won't be playing NCAA yet again this year. Last year the RROD, this year this garbage.

This sucks. Madden it is I guess.

This just may be the 1st time since NCAA 04 that I don't buy this game on release day. This really is just unacceptable. I mean I have always supported and deafened EA when other people would bash them for buying exclusive rights in different sports, but honestly this is a joke. All these bugs that continuously get through to the final product are ridiculous. Honestly do they even have testers? I really did appreciate how EA was actually coming to these boards and interacting with the community. I felt that this was the year EA football would be back on top, but I was wrong. We got the same old EA.

I'm confident we will get a patch, but most likely not until around November, just because patches do take a long time to make so you really can't blame EA there. It just amazes me that year in and year out EA lets so many gamekilling bugs slip through. Having roster files corrupt is a huge deal.

What you're describing is Madden/NCAA Football 2003.

Honestly, I can't say that I remember that very well, because I never had those games when they were released.

I didn't start buying Madden until Madden 2004 and NCAA Football until NCAA Football 2005.

That about sums it up for me. Those that say EA buying 2K will not hurt things need to wake up. If it was not for NBA2K and the MLB series from Sony, my sports gaming days would be over. A few deals and that may come true in the near future anyway!

I think you'll see a patch much quicker because this is a sales killer. What i dont' think you'll see is that gameplay patch that we all would want. So you'll see that patch to fix stuff like disappearing teams, edit problems, etc. I dont' know if many will recall but one of the MLB had a freezing problem and that patch was out quick- i would imagine this will be priority 1.

I hope they can that patch out ASAP. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
