I have been back and forth. At the moment, I believe I am going to rent the game and see for myself. Some of the issues bother me too much as a single player dynasty guy. I know no game is perfect, and has bugs, but it just gets tiring every year to read about the issues.

The other bothersome aspect is the wide open game play. College football is more wide open then the pros for example to be sure, but Ian said in the Madden forum that due to this company wide slogan the game is not as sim as Madden will be. It sounds like it was a conscious effort to make it this way.

So are all the problems being reported limited to just the Next/Gen consoles? Is there any problems with the PS2 version?

I wish i could tell you that im not getting it, but i love football, and i love college football. Ive heard positive and negative on the game. The rosters seem to be the biggest issue, but i have faith that those will be fixed. The gameplay.....well, weve had stuff every year, why should this year be any different?

Hum vs Hum has been reported to be excellent, so most time will be in online dynasty i guess

I have yet to buy any NCAA for the next gen systems, and it looks like I still won't be. I could care less if there are workarounds for some/all the glitches or a stupid patch later in the year. The fact of the matter is that this is an incomplete product and for it to be on it's 3rd iteration...this is unacceptable. And at $60 a pop (i.e. a tank of gas), I'll rent this one sometime in August.

I'm going to wait and see what gets fixed in the patch, before purchasing. I play more offline than on, so I really need the singleplayer experience to be solid.
