You see no block in the back in the video I posted? Are you blind? The lb clearly get's blocked in the back, unless you call getting shoved down from behind not blocked in the block. Please don't try to insult me intelligence I have been watching college football since I was about 6, I know that is a penalty.

No...I saw exactly what you THINK is a penalty, but, as I said before, not all blocks in the back are illegal.

Again, the rule book is available.

Now, if you want to dance around the specifics and bitch about the more general issues involving penalties like your defender turtle did, that's fine, but there is nothing illegal about that block.

You do know this animation happens on kick and punt returns too, unless you want to claim blocking in the back is legal on returns. I used this video as an example to show something that happens all the time. Maybe your right about that specific rule but that doesn't explain why it's not called a penalty when it does not occur around the line scrimmage.

Again, the turtle was right and you are right NOW; there does seem to be a problem with penalties in this series, but your original post claiming you had a video clip of a penalty was incorrect. If it's so common an occurrence and you were referring to a more general issue, you maybe should have posted a real foul instance.

No 'maybe' though, I am right on this one. I wouldn't have brought it up otherwise.
