Re: How do I stop this play?

If you get your DB in front of the WR that is jumping up and catching the balls, will this help in your success in defending this ?

I notice when people do this they try and make sure the WR is in front of the defender. The one time I blocked it I managed to get the DB in front of the defender. However thats the whole trick. Its very hard getting your DB in front of the WR without overplaying the move and taking your DB out of the play all together or worse at times its like your DB wont move at all.

I KNOW there has got to be some trick to defending this.

Re: How do I stop this play?

Unfortunantly this is pretty much a bug, you dont even need a tall WR to do it, in fact I think speed helps more. I can "rocket catch" for about 90% completions to Maclin at MU or Crabtree at TTU. Anyways, its cheap, its an exploit, and basically there is no good way to defend it. I can do it against triple coverage if I want.

I dont use this vs players or the cpu anymore, at first when I found you could just strafe turn and jump for 100% completions I did it a lot, then I played a guy on-line that could do it to and neither of us could stop eachother from doin it at all, so now I dont do it because it feels like cheating to me.
