a buddy of mine and I can not get a game completed- we're wondering if it's his connection or mine- he has a wireless adapter and I have a wired cable connection- is it the game?

Go to your dashboard and test your xbox live connection. If both of your NAT settings are set to open, then I don't know what the problem is...but more than likely, one or both of you have your NAT settings on moderate or strict.

you need to open ports on your router, check xbox.com faq's

Mine was doing that I turned my game off then back on it works fine but I always have to do it when I play for so long.
