For my first Dynasty season with Oklahoma State (not a powerhouse of course) I managed to get the #1 WR (lucked out big time) and he came in 84 ovr with 97spd... absolutely the best player on my team.

I also took someone ranked higher than him that was an ATH... absolute bust. Made me sad.
