Re: For you Stat junkies...7 min is the way to go.

7 minutes was the quarter time I used for 08'. Total plays (both teams) always ended between 115 to 125, which was great. Currently for 09' I have been using 6 minute quarters getting about 30 to 45 plays a game, including punts. I am no way a stat junkie, but like having the number of plays per game and per team to be close to accurate to the NCAA, which is approximately 120 plays (both teams combined).

I was at 9, but found 8 is perfect for me.

Guess it varies on how you call plays, how fast you snap it. We all know has fast the CPU snaps it, but i find 8 min works good for me right now. I'd rather play 10-11, but the CPU snaps it too fast and gets in too many plays.

Same for me too. With 7 minutes, I was only getting about 100-108 plays per game, which is just not enough. When I look at the simulated games, I see anywhere from 110-130 plays, which is what I get with 8 minutes quarters.

I guess it's all on the pace of game you play and how much you run/pass.

I like to run the ball and mix it up on offense, but the CPU just snaps it so fast 95% of the time. Time of Possession is almost always 2-1 in my favor.......aggravating.

I am playing 7 minutes also and have a good balance, but the CPU does snap too fast.
