NCAA Football 09 Passing Strategy: Part 1

This week, we are starting a new series of articles talking about how to run different pass plays against different coverages with the hope you will pick up some knowledge and improve your passing game. Wil McCombs runs through four plays in part one of his NCAA Football 09 Passing Strategy Guide.

Quote:
"If you thought I was a NCAA junkie before, you’ve now got more ammunition than you will ever need.

A few weeks ago, I wrote and article citing tips to defeat human opponents. Within my ramblings, I proposed the idea of running through your entire playbook in practice mode against different defenses in the hopes of developing a keen sense of awareness with as many plays as possible. The more familiar you are with your playbooks and how plays are countered by various defenses, the more dangerous you will become as an opponent."
Platform: PS2 / PS3 / PSP / Wii / Xbox 360

ok its hard at times to see reads at times because theres one camera view and i think that can **** you up. even on some screen plays especially cause i cant spell that word but if you play on those heisman sliders you can easily have problems with it. ive been fine but i still dont like the lack of cameras instead of alt jerseys and stadiums fix the ******* camera

Besides an occasional crossing route I rarely see a pass go across the line of scrimmage.

Unfortunately by the time they come out with a patch Madden will be out.
It's just to easy to sustain drives by throwing to the flat or a crossing route.

If you go to practice and watch your defense you will see how bad the AI is in this game. After viewing my LB's going to the numbers and immediately dropping back with no apparent idea of what was going on in front of them I had seen enough. No wonder you have to stick the RB on a screen.

The linebackers don't actually follow there routes and they never cover the flat.

Can you please bring back the feature where you were forced to punt when a normal coach would never go for it on fourth down or he would be fired right after the game. Please.

doesn't work if you press the "RB" button on 360.
