I can't tell if it's every time, but when you coffin corner a punt within about the 3 or so, you sometimes get a touchback. I'm not talking about 'hard to see where the ball goes out in the air' punts, but 100% obvious in replay punts that went out of bounds outside the endzone but still get counted as a touchback.

Seems like it has to go OB in the air. Bouncing and then rolling out seems to work fine.

A bit annoying.

yea happened to me once when it went out at about the one and a half yard line....really ticked me off

i noticed the commentary saying it is a touch back, but when the next play happens the ball is where it should be.

Could be part of the bug, but I'm talking about the ball actually being spotted at the 20 when the punt has obviously gone out of bounds outside the endzone.

i haven't seen that yet. the commentary would mention that it was a touch back, which confuses me, but at the play call screen i see its placed at the 3, 2,etc... and the next play would start there. if it does happen, I'm sure it would piss me off.

i take pride in my coffin corners and that happens to me evryo ther game.... and it is VERY obvious with the angle i kick at that the ball is out of bounds at the 1 or 2....the damn ball bounces on the sideline.... u cant even challenge the spot....nasty nasty bug

Could think of it realistically....referees don't make every correct call. Plus , if you are depending on the shadow to spot the ball, the sun isn't straight up, it comes from an angle.

The first few times I saw this, I just assumed I didn't see it right because of the shadow.
