Quick Recruiting Question
Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but the recruiting thread seemed to only be giving tips, not asking and answering questions.
When I'm recruiting someone, if the player is down to their top 5 schools and i'm number 6 on their list, does that mean I'm out of it to them? I never really understood that entirely. If that's true, then that saves me a lot of time from wasting time on these guys.
On the flip side, any time you look to add players to you recruiting board later, should you automatically pass over any players who are within their top 10 because they've already decided to narrow their choices and there's nothing I can do to get in the mix?
Overall, I'm trying to find out when is the best time to give up on certain players and which ones make sense to add to my recruiting board mid-way through the season.
