Re: Injuries and Dynasty mode in '09

I think they happen much too often in this years' game. In my dynasty, I had Clemson, and Davis got hurt for the season.....! after only 9 carries.......! In the FIRST GAME of the season!! Since, Ive had players get hurt every game. I havent changed ANY default settings in the game. It got to the point where I would take out my starters in the 2nd quarters of blowouts to prevent them from getting hurt...

Yeah I too think injuries are much to frequent. I have had a few games where 4 or 5 defensive starters for the CPU goes down for the rest of the game and I can do whatever I want on offense.
Also Shady McCoy was injured in the first quarter 4 games in a row, only for the rest of the game, but its annoying.

Re: Injuries and Dynasty mode in '09

Forget what I just said earlier. In game one of my year two dynasty I saw the following long-term injuries.

Me-Lost my 4th string RB (game was a blowout) for 7 weeks with a broken jaw.

CPU-Hurt the starting QB for 6 weeks with a ab tear.

I am in the same boat as you man. nothing substantial yet. i want to lose my senior MLB for a few weeks and see how my backuos handle the pressure. i haven't had much adversity in the way of injuries yet.

Thanks for the info guys. Looks like there is alot of variance between everyone's dynasties, sounds good. I think its time to see if I can turn around that Gopher program. HA

well considering i just lost graig cooper for the rest of the season with a broken jaw...it was my own fault, i ran him too many times in a row, i should have known something like that was going to happen
