Who needs to be gone, Corso or Herbstreit?

Alright so having a 3-man booth was freakin amazing back in 2001 when NCAA 2002 first out, and even up until about '04 or so. But now, they say the same stuff over and over, and I personally think it would be better if we just had two. If EA is worried about space(I personally dont think that is the issue), we should get rid of one and expand the commentary of the two.

I'd like to keep Herbstreit and Nessler as the team. IMO, Nessler is the only one who says anything worthy of listening, but Herbstreit's lines could be improved easier than Corso's.

Not to be mean, b/c I love the guy in real life, but Corso adds nothing at all to this game.

IMO, they should relegate Herbstreit and Corso to a pre-game Gameday, just like in real life. If they want so much ESPN presentation, that is part of the solution. Then they should get the best announce team that ESPN really uses and give them a shot. I can't think of names off the top of my head, but it would work. Or keep Nessler and add another announcer.

There definitely should be a Gameday pre-game "show" in the game though.. That would be awesome..

Neither. I think the 3-man booth is cool. And they have in fact added some commentary. But that doesn't mean they deleted all of the previous phrases they had.

Unfortunately, the familiar phrases are what most of you guys notice most. And thats why you think its the same.

The group they use is fine. The problem is in how the audio is used. Or re-used every year, actually.

Absolutely. Their delivery and enthusiasm is excellent. It's just that by now we've been hearing them say the same thing for so many years.

I agree about Nessler. I think he is the best play by play guy I have heard in a video game.

Corso needs to go. He's practically become a clown with his lines.

My problem isn't with them actually.. I love Corso and Herbstriet, and Nessler usually nails it. I watch college gameday every fraggin Saturday!! I just think that they should really up the presentation. In real life, Corso does not do commentary and Herbstriet does bigger games. You mostly see them on Gameday, so make a Gameday segment in NCAA.

I just hate when I punt the ball from the opp 38 yard line and they tell me it was a dumb play. What?? If I know my kicker sucks *** and cannot kick beyond a 44 yarder, why would I ever have him try to kick it from the 38 yard line?? This is how it is in my Kent State dynasty, my kicker is rating 48 horrible. If it is fourth and two, I am going for it anyway. If it is Fourth and eight, I am gonna play field position like a Big Ten team. That is nowhere near a bad call.. Kind lets you know that the games is programmed for the CPU kickers to attempt field goals from way too far out or they wouldn't say such things..

They really need to bring those guys in for an extensive re-record of commentary to freshen things up. There are some new things they say, just too much stuff I have heard for many, many, YEARS!!

I agree with the majority of this thread in that Corso and Herbstreit are fine- its the repetition of the lines, the choice of the lines and also the lack of presentation outside of these guys.

We really need new lines and visual references to the teams and players. Ie- This is the #1 D that McCoy is running against. More dynasty specific talk i guess is what i want along with the visuals of what they are talking about now and then between plays. Even just flash the standings if at the end of a conference game for example. Alot of little things could be added without necessarily getting more lines from them and without adding huge enterances or whatnot.
