how do you stop the pass to the hb?!?

online i'm getting killed trying to stop this! I try using my lb (Nicholson,Bradham,Ball) to stop flipping chris rainey and all he does is out run them! if i get no pressure up front tebow rolls out and kills me! 29-42 is a depressing record! lol...I just played a guy who had 2 or 3 hundred wins i forget...but he played with the gators and i knocked percy harvin out of the game! but he just killed me with rainey...whats the best way? i have tryed spying but it didn't work...if you don't guess the right way he's running they burn you!
any help is appreciated

Stay away from man coverage against HB's with elite speed. Zone it up. Spy puts the spying player on the QB, not RB. Either that or man blitz to bring pressure and hope you get there before the RB gets out of his cut. Could zone blitz as well

Go to the Dime 3-2-6 and use the Quarters package.

Call cover 2 man.
Audible blitzing LB to a flat zone
Audible FS to a flat zone
Control the SS and patrol the skies
Use the coverage audible to show blitz

You now have a 3-man rush (like the rush matters anyways...even with 7 guys)
You're in show blitz...which will help stop the run
You have all 5 receivers assigned a defensive back...no linebackers are covering
You have both flats covered against the HB outs.
You have a safety who can do whatever you want...protect against cheesing deep balls.

a RB with 72 speed can probably outrun your LBs because LB speed is sabotaged. Either you need to use a safety to cover him manually, or a cover 2 zone is probably best to cover each flat and still not leave yourself too suceptible(sp?) to the run

Wow thank you for this...I was just asking about to ask about this too because I'm about to play some1 in my online dynasty who passes the ball to the hb almost everytime...
