Question on progression

Im still fairly new to next gen NCAA and am wondering about the progression. First of all, I think its awesome that the players progress during the season just like on last gen and something that Madden next gen needs badly. Here's my questions though.

1. When reading the progression numbers, for example, if the OVR rating says 85(+3), is the ovr rating 88 or is it 85 and just letting you know that it went up 3 points since the previous week?

2. Can players be labeled as "Impact Players" as the season progresses? (ex.... start the year as a regular player but then after a few games be labeled as a Impact Player)

He is an 85. It just lets you know that he progreesed 3 points.

Yes

he would be a 85. the +3 just shows how much he improved.

yes.

sometimes the impact players will lose their impact status if they are not doing good and it will move to someone else who was. my 1st season with Texas Tech, Harrell got injured for the year. the impact player status left him after a few games and went to my HB. later in that year, it left my HB for my LB who was having a great year.

I haven't seen where the hot streak effect the players performance, they seem to play the same either way. Nor have I seen a hot streak propel a player to "impact player" status. And it seems once they get on a hot streak, they never lose that status - even if they have a few bad games. Other players may have experienced something different with the hot streak, but this is what I have seen.
