Thought I'd start off with a few...

Nessler: "Good kick, looks to be returnable."
Yes that's what every kicker strives for - for his kick to be returned.

Herbstreit: "... now they have to worry about the run, AND the pass on defense."
When does the defense pass the ball?

Nessler: "He made a great play on that one."
Herbstreit: "Yeah that's because he's in perfect position to make the play."
ORLY????

Nessler: "They're hoping for success, here in the RED ZONE."
Nessler: "Let's see if the defense can stop them in the RED ZONE."
Nessler: "Did I mention that they're in the RED ZONE?"
Nessler: "That reminds me of a few plays ago when they were in THE RED ZONE."
Maybe Nessler's contract has a minimum of 1,500 lines where he says the words "red zone."

Nessler: "He'll be looking for a good punt here."
waaaaah waaaaah waaaah waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Nessler: "They'll be looking for some more success here as they were forced to punt the last time."
You look for success on EVERY drive, no matter how the last one ended! Sorry Brad, it's my goal this drive to turn the ball over - once I get in the RED ZONE. How presumptuous.

My wife HATES that. She talks along with it and then curses under her breath (and i dont blame her)

Corso: Some guys are actually the opposite. They don't play WR instead of defense because they don't want to hit or tackle anyone.

With all the INTs in 08, I'm sick of hearing that one....

I haven't listened to the commentary enough to comment on it. I usually play NCCA with the sound off and XM Radio going.

This year that will change with the in-stadium sounds though.
