Losing in Overtime--Without Getting a Possession

In spite of the problems the game has this year, I tried to keep playing and started a Legend game as a QB for Texas Tech. Gained the starting position for the Texas A&M game, and it was exciting (Crabtree 9 catches for 223 yards).

At the end of regulation, the game is tied 21-21. A&M starts the first overtime, gets to the 4, and kicks a field goal.

I'm feeling pretty good. I've got a good shot at pulling out a win. Well, until they start showing the game changing highlights right after the field goal.

That's right. Game over. A&M wins 24-21 in overtime. No possession for me.

That's it for me this year. I officially give up.

Re: Losing in Overtime--Without Getting a Possession

thats happened to me, but in reverse. I won a game that way. If thats all it takes for you to quit and never play again I hope you rented the game. Another thing, it was Campus legend mode...who really cares? Is there even an achievement or any kind of in-game recognition for going undefeated? Just turn it off and re-play it. Maybe it had championship implications but still that seems like a lame reason to give up. And this happened once? What happens when you lose a user game?

No, it wasn't just that--it was pursuit angles and backs who juke four times and miss the hole and a bunch of other things--that was just the last straw.

While I wouldn't quit a game over this and I've actually had fun with this year's game, I can see where this guy is coming from. It's like Mos Def wrote:

"Why did one straw break the camel's back? Here's the secret:
There's a million other straws underneath it."
