Conference Invite question

May have been asked before but how do you get an invite to another conference? I just went to the National Championship with Bowling Green in season 2 of my dynasty and lost and didnt get an invite. Is it random? Are there any set criteria? I imagine geography makes a difference. Any idea what conferences Bowling Green could be invited into?

Thanks in advance.

I've always you just had to win consistently. Not just one big year will work.

Re: Conference Invite question

It's a combiantion of you winning, a better conference in your geographical region having a team struggling really bad and luck.

There is no guarantee that you will ever get an invite as there is a randomness to it.

Re: Conference Invite question

So any idea what conference a team like Bowling Green may get an invite from? The big ten or maybe big east seem like the only realistic options for a team from Ohio.

Re: Conference Invite question

I think it's kind of random. For example in one dynasty I got invited to the SEC with UCF after the 1st season, and in another I'm in the 5th season and haven't gotten any invites dispite similar results.

Re: Conference Invite question

In all my time as Akron and in the MAC with NCAA, I have NEVER gotten an invite. When I am a school from down south and the west, I always get one in one or two years.

Makes no sense.

Re: Conference Invite question

Yeah im in the 2nd year of my Temple dynasty and I went 7-5 my first year. I dont think that will get me any invites but hopefully if I win the MAC this year I will get an invite from the Big East or Big 10. I think OMT said that you should save right before the invites would show up in the offseason menu so that you can reload and try to get an invite as many times as you desire. I'll probably do that at the end of my 2nd year.

Re: Conference Invite question

When is the invites portion of the offseason? Is it around the coaching offers right after you advance to the offseason? Just confirming when I should save.
