Loading rosters into campus legend

How do you load custom/named rosters you have downloaded from EA sports locker? I tried loading the rosters then starting my legend.

I just want real names.

You could try a search as I know I've seen this on here before. Here's what I think I read.

You start a legend and go through the high school tournament and see what team you'll go on. Once you get to that team, check out your player and write down all of your stats.

Exit all the way out to the main menu and load your roster. Enter your player on the team that you chose. Start a new campus legend and choose to use an existing player (I think that's an option) and choose the guy you created.

I think that's the only way to get real names. Obviously I've never done that, but if you search you can find a more definitive answer.

Yeah, for some reason, custom rosters just don't follow into Campus Legend. Found this out last night. No clue why they don't.

the only way to have the real rosters in the custom legend is you must either edit a player already on the game or create a player to the team of your choosing then export that player into legend mode. that is the only way. if you do the hs playoffs you will not have the real rosters either it will have fake names or HB #31 ect....
