My NCAA disc seems to create some sort of vibration in my 360 that makes it 10x louder than any other game.

Has this happened to anyone else?

It is a 2008 360. My launch 360 just got sent back b/c the fan was too loud then this happened, ugh.

disc isn't warped by chance is it?

just curious though, do you think if a disc got an extra dose of paint on part of the cd it would unbalance it?

I noticed this too. This is one one of the loudest games I got.

I can understand a little noise. My laptop dvd player is not quiet, but there is an audible hum when I play NCAA on my 360. I tried emailing EA , but it came back to me. Anyone have a contact email for me?

When I boot it up it almost sounds like the disc is grinding for about 2 seconds

Me too. It makes my 360 sound like it is going to die.

my xbox was making a loud sound last year, but think it was any game. it was actually in teh winter months, and i think just it being very cold in the room i was at had something to do with it. once the machine warmed up, everything was a-ok!
