There wasn't even a RB anywhere in sight and he had adanced the ball down inside the 20 with 1 timeout left and about 15 seconds to go. Why pitch it? I just don't get it. The cpu AI is horrible.
I've seen the CPU run the option with the lead and under a minute in the game remaining and then do that same stupid option pitch to nobody that results in a fumble.

This goes back to my opinion that EA has been extraordinarily lazy in their programming and have used random dice rolls far too often instead of programming common sense logic into the game.

Most people think we need adaptive AI and while that would be nice, it would be better if they could just give the AI a bit of common football knowledge as a base to start from.
