Anyone Block a Field Goal or Punt Yet

Alright has anyone been able to block a field goal or a punt? And if so how did you do it? I have yet to block anything.

Only a punt and that was when I had the CPU on the 1 yard line...

Never EVER get close on FGs or XPs

Never on this version. I can't get the timing on the jump the snap for those. i am not sure if that is how its done anyway but i am trying.

I blocked an extra point. I clogged the middle with the "return" guy on the FG block unit. Used him to run up the middle, another guy broke through the line dove and blocked the kick.

It was pure luck, ive tried to do it again and cant even get a guy through the line.

I remember on the PS2 version where they had the first person view, i used to block like almost 1 FG or extra point a game.

I have 1 xp ever in 09 and it was huge.

Human vs human OD game and neither of us punted. I give up the game tying td with about 50 seconds left (28-27) i noticed the user always snapped almost as soon as he could on xps from his first couple of scores.

I took the player on the end and backed him about about 3-4 steps behind the los and just ran forward. I must have timed it perfectly (i actually thought i was a 1/2 step offsides) and came around the corner and dove at the holder just as the kicker approched. I tackled him before the kick got off..

and he called me a cheater...

Havnt even got close since...

i blocked CPU punts when i had them pinned inside their 5 yard line. no blocked FGs/XPs yet though and no blocked punts that wasn't near their own goalline.

I came very close to blocking a punt. I was within 5 yards and just messed up trying to jump to block the ball. All luck, i don't even know what i did.
