Not interested in this stale representation of football. Maybe next year... there are certainly better quality games produced by EA Sports... and it really, really shows you how badly this series needs some life injected into it.

Well, D-Day arrived yesterday for NCAA 09. I think I may have posted earlier in this thread that I kept the game because of the online dynasty.

Well, since I dropped out of that in year 4, I took this p.o.s back to EB yesterday.

The OD got so bad with humans scoring 80-110 points against the CPU on a regular basis, that the game is no longer any fun for me. The guys in the dynasty were great and the recruiting wars were fun, but the warts on this game finally became to much to overcome.

It's sad because I have always played this title all the way up until the release of the next installment. It's been my favorite game for years and I look forward to two games all year. FIFA and NCAA and both are somewhat of a joke with gameplay glitches that I cannot get past.

Both have been returned.

Not holding my breath waiting on that to happen. It just seems like the NCAA series gets attention "if there's time" because the majority of the efforts go towards Madden.

With NCAA we get aesthetic changes like new player models and 7,000 shades of orange and yellow lighting at dusk.

Thank you for the online dynasty, it was a lot of fun, but work needs to be done.

However, I just cannot take this game or the developers seriously until they take a damn hard long look at the AI. That is the MAJOR problem with this game.

Disgusting CPU playcalling, no long passes, no adaptive AI, pass defense busted and the OL/DL interaction are PATHETIC.

How many times does the FB go through the hole on a Lead play and NEVER even touch the oncoming LB?!?!? Answer...EVERYTIME!!!!

What about that guard that pulls on a Counter play? Is he hitting the DE, blitzing OLB or CB? HELL NO! He turns into the pile of Mario Running suction blocked jacka**es and let's me get creamed in the backfield for a 4 yard loss.

It seems as if the development team is maxed out on this gameplay engine. They just keep putting band aids on a wound that is getting bigger and bigger. The band aids, while they may help some areas, they are hurting others.

I've read that the logic for the CPU playcalling hasn't been touched. If that's the case then something else or some other change is affecting it because I can't ever remember it being this bad.

I'm done....for now.

I don't think this is the best game ever but it is very good. It is light years ahead of Madden. I hope they keep up the good work and keep making the game better. I enjoy playing this game.

I still play it a couple of times a week. Infact this is the first year that I haven't bought Madden (for my own reasons that I won't get into here). But I find this game is still enjoyable.
