Does loading the game on your HD prevent the game from freezing?

Re: Installed to harddrive benefits?

Id have to say yes. I just started playing Oblivion IV (needed somethin thats challenging and takes awhile to beat) and it loads faster and plays smoother since I've saved it to my HD. Only problem is I have the original 20 gig HD And the NCAA 09 and Oblivion files took up a little over 12 gigs. Just gonna spend $100 to get a used 120 gig one from gamestop
