OMG question on recruiting

Do you know if anyone will fine tune the recruiting data base this year? There are too many WRs with speeds like 82, 84, etc... There are very few WRs that slow, and is is lame to see teams like Florida, Texas and USC recruit receivers that slow.

I notice the drop off in speed in those 3 and 4 star WR recruits. Makes it tough when you are recruiting a couple WR's all season it says they have B+ speed, then you get to the next season and their speed is in the low 80's. Im trying to turn Air Force around in a OD and landed like 5 WR's and none of them had speed above 87. Making them almost useless.

Hopefully it is fixed for next year, among other things.

Re: OMG question on recruiting

I think EA needs to adjust those and drop the 40's about 6 spots to match the speed. For example:

4.29 = 99 spd
This is the fastest anyone could be and you won't find too many that actually run below 4.29.

4.99 = 66 spd
This should be the lower end speed for QB's. 60-62 being the absolute lowest. There just aren't that many that slow anymore.

84 or 85 should be the lowest spd for skill players like WR, S, CB etc. That puts the slowest around 4.58-4.60 if the scale was adjusted the six spots I reccomended. Agility an acceleration should make up the difference in the really fast ones.

I agree with everything you said. I have always wondered why 4.16 is the fastest. in Madden for example Devin Hester has 100 speed but he ran a 4.27 at his pro day.

Re: OMG question on recruiting

I really don't have an issue with the database. The real issue is CPU recruiting. There is no strategy and hence you get teams with 15 recievers and 4 OL. This needs to be fixed first!

Recruiting is a problem(cpu tactics) but they have players at all positions that are either way too small, way too slow, or way too weak. Mis-sized players as well. In my OD the strongest Power HB in the data base is 5'9" 160. They need to tie in the size/strength/spd IMO. The speeds are just too unrealistic.
