Re: Which is Better?

QB - Balanced: I like a guy who can move around to avoid pressure but still have an arm.
HB - Speed: There's nothing better than turning the corner and blazing by everyone.
FB - Receiving: Blocking FBs are typically too slow and they all do a pretty terrible job of blocking anyways.
TE - Receiving: There's a reason that TEs like Jermaine Gresham are the rage these days.
OT - Pass Blocker: Gotta have big, strong guys sealing the edge.
OG - Run Blocker: They need to be quick to get out and block.
OC - Balanced: Needs to do both and be fairly speedy.
DE - Pass Rusher: Speed off the edge is necessary with the lame duck pass rush.
DT - Balanced: I like my DTs to be able to do both effectively.
OLB - Coverage: You need all the help you can get on defense in this game.
MLB - Run Stopper: The guy in the middle needs to be strong and be able to tackle well.
CB - Coverage: Once again, all the help you can get on pass defense.
FS - Balanced: Needs to be able to cover and hit.
SS - Hard Hitter: Gotta have the DB you can bring up to the box and help in run support.

Re: Which is Better?

My philosophy is size up front and speed at the skill positions on both offense and defense.

QB: Balanced. I like my Quarterbacks mobile with a good arm and accuracy.
HB: Both. I want one powerback and one speedback and use them like the Panthers use DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart.
FB: Balanced with good hands.
OL: Big guys all balanced or run-blockers that are decent blockers.
WR:Speed guys with decent hands.
TE: Balanced or Receiving.
DE: Pass Rushing with decent strength.
DT: Run-Stuffers in the mold of Kevin and Pat Williams or the Jags back when Marcus Stroud teamed with John Henderson.
LB: Balanced for all three. My linebacker have to be fast enough to rush the passer and cover, but tackle well enough to stop the run. They are the key to my defense.
CB: Coverage.
S: Balanced or hard-hitters with good speed and hands.

Re: Which is Better?

QB - Scrambler/Balanced I like a guy who can move
RB - 1 Power, and 1 speed/balanced guy 2 back attack
WR - Balanced mostly, I try to get 1 speed guy in there also
TE - Balanced TE must be able to block and catch
OL - T pass block. G, C Balanced/Run block
DE - I try to get big athletic guys here who can get after the QB
DT - Big, ugly, and nasty Run stoppers for the DT
OLB/MLB - Fast Coverage/Balance guys who can move. My LB's are very important in my D
CB - Coverage
FS - Coverage/Balanced
SS - Hitter
