Conference Invites

What does it take to get invited into a bigger conference. I'm ULM and have won two consecutive BCS games (not championships) while going undefeated for 3 straight seasons. I have a 6 star prestige now, but still can't seem to get an invite. Anything in particular I should do?

Re: Conference Invites

I really don't know how the AI factors in the conference invites, but they seem to happen too quick IMO. In a SDST Dynasty, I got invited to the Pac 10 after two seasons. My prestige went from 2 star to 4 star, w/ two MWC Championships and I played in one BCS Game (not championship) at the end of the second season. I don't know if any of those factors that had something to do with it or not. However, I don't think a good 2 year run should qualify a program to join a BCS Conference.

Are you getting invites from other non-BCS conferences? because if so I don't believe you will get a BCS invite until you accept one of those.

that could be it. i played a few dynasties as a Sunbelt team and i've never been able to go straight to a BCS conference. usually i go to the MAC or C-USA first, then to a BCS conference.

What about a team like Notre Dame? Do they have to go through the MAC or C-USA and then to a BCS conference or do they go straight to a big conference?

I believe they still have to go to smaller conferences, but I can't remember what I got accepted to but I don't believe it was a BCS conference and it was in 08 so it might have changed.

You definitely don't have to opt for the none-BCS conferences first. As SMU I went straight from C-USA to the Big 12.

I think it partially has to do with your reputation, your conferences reputation (which is why it helps to move) and a team at a BCS conference bombing for a couple of seasons.

Re: Conference Invites

I got a invite to the SEC from the big east with louisville. But I do not know if you can go from the smaller conferences straight to the BCS
