Playoff option in 2010

I think this might be a great idea. When starting your dynasty (online or off) have the option of your league going to a +1, 4, 8 or 16 team playoff at the end of conf. championship week.

It's EA and not the BCS running this game, and it would continue talk about the idea since ESPN loves to simulate everything they can.

Im pretty sure that idea wouldnt go far, its cool and all but people have a say in what goes in and what doesnt and im sure they wouldnt want a playoff system in the game if it wasnt the offical (whenever that is) playoff system college football is going to use.

It would be cool, but won't happen. I am sure the licensing agreement wouldn't allow it.

Re: Playoff option in 2010

yeah i would love for this to be available. i have had a few dynasties where 3-4 teams go undefeated and those teams get left out (happened to my team once and i was pretty upset.) but i would love for a playoff option. but i dont think the ncaa would allow it.

It was in 2000 and it was brilliant. They I believe had 32 teams and it used actual bowl locations for the playoffs. They called it the Bowl Playoff System or something like that. I want that one in. Not a 16 team cap.

I'm not sure if the deal they made with the BCS is the reason it is gone, but I always played with that mode and man was it fun.

So please, please, please, EA, BRING BACK THE BOWL PLAYOFF SYSTEM!

Don't just put in playoffs, give us the one you used back in 2000. Great mode. Even more, you could start your dynasty off as a bowl dynasty and then switch to playoffs the next year or after a few years. Great feature I really would love to see return.
