How would you know if an athlete recruit can play QB?

Is there any way to tell if an ATH recruit can play QB? It doesn't give any THP/THA ratings for any of them that I can see. I'd love to pick one up to be a running QB as I try to move to a spread offense, but I don't want to just guess and end up with a guy with crap for an arm. Are there any giveaways to their potential at that position?

It does it doesn't happen often that you find a good ATH that is also a good QB. It will give you the THP/THA ratings you just have to go to each ATH who has good speed and check if has THP/THA as one of his first ratings. Then he can be a QB.

If a Athlete's best position is QB when you click r3 (ps3) to check his attributes itll have THP and THA, there is no way other way to know to my knowledge the recruit's arm but ive found an ATH who's best postion was a DB, I recruited him as a CB or a S which he was rated 73 at one of them his best, but he was also rated like 68 qb, 69 rb and 70 WR.

I run an extremely mobile offense... a running QB is a must.

In last gen, I'd find most of my QB's through ATH recruiting.

Current gen, I've found that I can find far more mobile QB's in the QB pool, and the "ATH" QBs, if there are any, are all 6'4" 220lbs 4.89 40

In other words, not an athlete at all.

I know that some people had alot of luck with athletes being QB's. Even though the recruit card doesnt say anything, people are finding QB's with 70+ OVR and their best position being a WR or a DB. I havent found any of those, yet. I think the fastest a QB recruit can get when you 1st sign him is a 4.33 40, and he came out to be a 91 speed. Sometimes, they gain speed, but not alot...

I found an athlete who can play QB. If he was listed as a QB, he would be a scrambler. His 40 time is 4.52. Unfortunately, I forgot if I saved that dynasty, lol...
