I have no doubt in my mind that Pryor will be rated higher then Robert Griffin, when if you look at it, there is no way that should be the case.

Robert Griffin > Terrelle Pryor

Robert Griffin > Terrelle Pryor

Defend your case instead of just stating opinion. I can give a quick stat without any type of breakdown. 8-2 vs 4-8. There really isnt any stats supporting Griffin > Pryor. I'm curious about your reasoning.

freshman Kenny Vacarro 84 overall....i hope he takes Gideons spot next year, he was awful and my friend kenny's a stud....although he'll prolly end up playin corner
Vacarro missed the entire season with a knee injury, I highly doubt he is rated in the 80s.

Re: Early 2010 ratings predictions

Well if you are giving me the state of 8-4 vs 4-8, I mean its Ohio St vs. Baylor, who do you think is going to have the better record? Plus Ohio State has a lot more talent then Griffin does around him at Baylor.

I am a bit biased though. Can't really compare head to head stats as Griffin played in more games.

EDIT: I should always take back when I say there is no way, i mean Pryor was the higher rated guy coming out and he is going to be on a solid team.

Either way I think both guys are going to be great QB's when it said and done. Pryor will probably have the chance to have more success though.

I need to know more about Griffin. I saw him some this past season but I still didn't get a good feel on arm-strength or accuracy. I could tell he was really athletic, but is that enough to rate him higher than the #1 OVR prospect in the same class that started most of the year as well? I could see where Griffin MIGHT possibly be faster, but I would need to hear an argument to back up how he's better than Pryor. He may very well be...I just don't see it right now.

Ohio State > Baylor obviously
Big 12 > Big 10

Griffin

2,934 yards and 28 touchdowns total

Pryor
553 yards rushing, 6 touchdowns
1,311 yards passing, 12 touchdowns - 4 interceptions in 165 attempts
1,864 yards and 18 touchdowns total

Griffin played in 1 less game as well.

versus Texas
Griffin - 6/19 for 71 passing 1 td 1 int, 13 rushes for 101 yards and 1 TD
Pryor - 5/13 for 66 0 TD 0 int, 15 rushes for 78 yards and 0 TDs. Had the reception TD

Re: Early 2010 ratings predictions

Thanks for those stats. That helps some. Can you summarize attributes as well?

Let me make this very clear, I'm NOT trying to start a CONF. war. However:

Big 12 D's overall< Big 10 D's. OU, TX and NU are good, D-wise. Everyone else, not so much.

Not taking away from Griffin being a good player, but Big 12 D's are lacking. That's why I'd like to hear comparisons in arm-strength, pocket prescence etc.
