Last year was the first Vandy/Ole Miss game I've missed in Oxford since 1979. You should come up here. Tickets shouldn't be too tough to get - they never are.
There is no question Ole Miss is going to be explosive on offense, with Snead, McCluster, Eason, Hodge, etc. but Vandy's defense will be even better this year than last, although Ole Miss' offense will be too good to completely shut down, so they will score points.
Greg Hardy coming back wil surely help. You guys got an awesome tight end prospect out of Nashville - Zach Mason. He'll play quickly.
Plenty of stuff to do here of course so come up and make a weekend out of it.

Believe it or not, our D actually has me more excited than the O. We had a few guys that had been playing offense that got the switch to D and the light didn't come on until late in the year. We're not gonna be Bama/LSU/UF good on D but we will be very hard to deal with. I really think Bama's D will be the best in the nation, and I hate Bama. UF could easily have the best but that's just my guess.

I'm hoping Z Mason redshirts but if we can't keep him off the field then so be it.

Why are you concerned that he won't be in the game?

I see that he is listed on ESPN as a UConn Husky still, but he's listed on the Vandy roster at http://vanderbilt.rivals.com/croster.asp (the first 2009 Vandy roster I found). I don't think you have anything to worry about.
