Double numbers

Arizona LB Vuna Tuihalamaka & potential starting QB Nick Foles are both wearing #8 this season, so just a heads up to anyone from EA that handles rosters if they were to visit these boards.

Also, double numbers should be allowed in create a player, as long as we keep the players on opposite sides of the ball.

Re: Double numbers

Also I don't see why some bigger schools can have double numbers, while some smaller schools don't. There's some teams that have the same # allowed for players on offense & defense, while some schools someone who is supposed to have the same # as someone else, but the game changes it & it can't be edited.

Is there a thread where we can address this issue for a developer to see it?

Thanks.

Re: Double numbers

i agree, it happens almost 99.9% of the time in real life, it takes away for me to have to choose which player doesn't get his real number

Re: Double numbers

I've been asking for this for years. I don't know the programming particulars, but I'd think it'd be do-able. Needs to be added (along with a dozen other things).

Re: Double numbers

I hope that duplicate numbers make it in this year. Has there been any confirmation on whether or not they got put in NCAA 10?

Re: Double numbers

I am wondering if we could go into teambuilder and get the duplicate numbers.

I am really looking forward to teambuilder just to build UW and make alternate uniforms... limitless applications for that program!

Re: Double numbers

I'm pretty sure the default roster set by Tiburon have players with alternate numbers, but the user is unable to number somebody if that team already has a player occupying it.

For example, if the default roster file has a LB #11 and HB #11...if I change one of their numbers and save the roster, 11 won't appear as option if you want to change it back. Not sure why they do this, but it really doesn't bother me all that much since the real life players are the only ones I care about numbering correctly.
