i actually just looked at it and i figured it out! when its turned on your players take a LONG time to get out of the huddle and set up a play, therefore chewing up the clock!

so let me get this straight, you want when you score to be realistic, but you dont want the rest of the stats to be

still makes little sense

it makes sense, most gamers pick a play and get to the line much faster than teams do in real life. Accelerated clock makes the time elapsed between whistle and snap much more realistic

Re: Accelerated Clock?

But wouldnt that be the same thing as picking a play and milking the play clock to 0?

what do you mean? the rest of the stats become more realistic because they are based on a 60 minute game and not 20 minutes.

if you dont want to play 15 minute quarters, you can change it

i dont get it
Heres why I like Acc. Clock.

It allows me to play 15 minute quarters, but keep realistic stats.

Go fire up Madden or NCAA 09 and play 15 minute quarters. You'll most likely score 40 pints in each quarter. You'll also have like 1,000 pass yds at the end too.

Accelerated clock will allow you to play 15 minute quarters and have realistic TOP and still get maybe 120 Rush yards and 200 pass yards.

In real life you see teams hiking the ball with 4 seconds on the play clock. In Madden and NCAA you hike it with around 20 - 25.

With AC it will automatically take like 30 seconds off the game clock, but leave you 20 seconds on the playclock. This allows for you to get realistic TOP and stats.

I typed it fast, so it may be confusing. But do you get what I am saying?
