PS3 also has its limitations. There was a reason why NCAA 08 was at 30 FPS for PS3 while 60 FPS for 360.

Besides, downloadable content for things such as uniforms, stadiums and other art work should be a way around it.

Ha, I would like to see these get back in the game. My friend and I used to love the player (I forget who) saying "My boy Lafluer from Louisville!"

Yeah doesn't a Blu-ray disc have a lot more space compared to a DVD? So shouldn't the PS3 version just be blowing the 360 version out of the water?

I'm not sure why we scrapped them though. I think it was an issue of non-HD users not being able to see them versus HD users seeing it in standard. Though I'm pretty sure we can detect that and play different versions.

Regardless, we won't be bringing these back this generation because we are running out of disk space. Its crazy... we've never run out of disk space on past generations.

Well thank you OMT for crushing the dreams of many. Nah, just joking. At least I know what the issue is though now. Thanks for the insight.

i'm not sure if that's true, but I know they have to make the game equal for both consoles cause that's just how they roll

Re: EA Sports Cameos

Yup, a single layer Blu-ray is 25 gb, and a dual layer 50 gb...so disc size isn't a problem there. The problem is it would be a terrible business move to screw over 360 users, who I would guess buy the majority of the copies of the game. At least that's what I'm guessing...
