Evans from VT really flew under the radar. But it might be time to split the backs and rate them by speed or power backs cuz no way The Quizz is top 5

I'm not going to say Quizz is better than best, but he was more effective against top competition, and more consistent.

Not only did he have a great game against USC, but he also averaged 4.5 yards per carry at Penn State and 4 at Utah. Best averaged 2.5 yards per carry at Maryland and 2.3 at USC. However best averaged 13.7 yards per carry on 52 carries against WSU, UW, and Stanford, teams that Quizz was only moderately productive against. Best is more of a big-play guy, and Quizz is more of a chains-mover.

Dwyer's got to be up there.

Charles Scott, to me, is really really good, but I don't know if he's top-5.

If I was starting a team and had my choice of PAC 10 backs I would take:
1-J Best
2-L Blount
3-J McKnight
4-J Rodgers
5-CJ Gable

Jonathan Dwyer

Uh, No hate towards the Gators(I actually find myslef rooting for them if I'm watchin a Gators game most of the time), but Demps and Rainey shouldn't be that high.Their both fast, but their not great all around backs. As for the video game, well yeah, they will be two of the best.

Re: Top RBs in 2010?

Lets change it up a bit. We all have a pretty good list of the top running backs, but does anyone have rb's that they think will have a break out season? Guys that my have had a senior in front of them and are now the starters. A lot of the sports analysts say that caleb king is a kid to watch this year. I have already mention B. Minor of UM and F. Whittaker of UT as guys that will break out. With the style of offense that Alabama plays i would have to say that Trent Richardson True Frosh has a chance to make a big impact in his first year. what do you all think?
