So I broke out NCAA 09 because I need the college football fix. In the first half of my game as UNC at NCSU I was reminded of one of the most annoying problems with the game.

I'm up 16-0 late in the 2nd quarter in Raleigh. NCSU takes over at their own 29 with 1:46 to go and 2 to's. Here are the play calls:

-FD Pass 14yds.
(1:32) FD pass 14yds.
(1:21) -3yd run
(1:05) 5yd. run(option of course)...t.o NCSU
(1:00) 8yd. Pass
(:50) 13yd pass
(:38) SACK 8yd. loss
(:19) 3yd. Pass....scramble to the LOS, no huddle.....
(:06) 1yd. pass

NCSU does NOT use their last time out of the first half even though they were in FG range.

This type of nonsense and lack of attention to a KEY part of the game is just stupid. This is a borderline gamekiller.

Hopefully with all of the progressive lighting, create a team, and other great new additions, hopefully, SOMEONE...ANYONE....is looking at just the basics. Because if this type of *hit is in NCAA 10 all the work and time implementing new features could be meaningless. WAKE UP!

That's why I have decided to play old-gen NCAA (NCAA '07 on XBOX) for my football fix. The CPU AI is just too unbelievable stupid to comprehend.

I had a couple of great games late last night vs. the CPU.

lol i play last gen 08........ the pursuit angles arent that great, but the playbooks are awesome

I honestly may pick up a PS2 and NCAA 09 tonight. I had a blast playing '07 last night. '08's pursuit angles and turnover fest was a little overdone for me, but it was still pretty good overall.

My little kids wouldn't mind having a PS2 for Lego Wars games either - they aren't old enough to handle my PS3. LOL.
