no, i do understand all that. I just dont need the little pop up notifications for every play. That would start to annoy me seeing the little notifications pop up each play.

This is a FANTASTIC idea! It actually will make SS some what meaningful (albeit still very little). I'm down for whatever team you guys choose.

ok also you CAN'T turn those off..EA's evil trick..HAHAHAHAHHAAH!

you have to pick a team. that latest video is at the beginning of the game when you boot it up for the first time..guarantee it.

edit, actually after reading that quote from Adam you posted, maybe you have to go into the SS mode first. But i doubt that, its going to be mandatory.

according to that OMT quote there's a separate menu. to me that sounds like you find the season showdown menu off the main menu. if even it is from startup though I'd think there'd be a way to skip past it. i guess we'll found out soon enough, but either way people are freaking out way too much over this.
