NCAA 10 gameplay video is best compared to the Dragonball Evolution trailer.

Everyone was all excited at first, but then the longer they witheld the trailer the more red flags popped up, and in Dragonball's case by the time the footage actually dropped all hope was lost for it and it flopped.

I pray this isn't the case for NCAA.

Well, I'm the last person to defend EA. But let's be real here. NCAA is probably the most in-depth game from the number of teams, stadiums, players, etc. All that stuff takes time.

You can add up all the teams, stadiums on NHL, FIFA and it still probably won't equal NCAA. I think NCAA just needs to get back to basics, though.

I've always said theres no reason Madden shouldnt pack in tons more stuff than NCAA given that they should have a lot more space

This is very, very wrong. In FIFA alone, there are over 500 teams and 30 leagues in the game, as well as 41 national teams. This should put all of the NCAA team's work into perspective.

I thought the Madden hype was just hype just like every year, but it really does sound like it's blowing NCAA out this year. I can't be too surprised though. I'm sure the Madden team is much bigger tan the NCAA team. Maybe if NCAA does well this year, they'll put more resources into it next year.
As long as your happy with the patched sliders in 09 because thats what were most likely getting for 10.
