Are the rosters on teambuilder the ones being launched with the game?

Thats bogus, all he has to do is tell us if this is the way the game is gonna ship, has nothing to do with the lawsuit. The lawsuit has to do with player likenesses. As was pointed out earlier in the thread, the fact that the TB rosters are reported to be set in stone does not necessarily mean that the TB rosters and the game rosters are identical.

It could very well be that the guys who built the web app used rosters that had not yet been fully updated. Imo the fact that some people are saying their team's rosters look ok, while others are full of errors, supports that view.

I still think it was meant that the rosters in TB are final. not that the final rosters in TB are the final rosters in NCAA 10.

I would like to think that is the case Solidice but I am afraid these very well could be final in-game rosters. If so, I will be lobbying for the old roster guy back.

The game is probably gold already so I'm guessing these rosters are final for the game as well.

It would be even better if EA would release a web based roster editor next year where you could edit ALL the teams and download them into the game. Let people import player images and everything. That way they could easily be managed on your PC and shared with both the PS3 and 360.

I know EA is not always logical when it comes to NCAA, but wouldn't have two separate roster files be problematic?

The fact that no one from EA has commented on this issue makes me think they don't want to face the music.
