What about the PS2 version?

Is the same roster issue going to be present in the PS2 version? Or is this just a 360/PS3 problem?

As a roster maker, I'd like to know. If there's no problems on the PS2 version, I'll be rolling with that again and making rosters this year, in which case I have to start getting information together. However, if the problem is on the PS2 as well, I'll just stick it out and keep the 360 version on pre-order.

Any help would be *greatly* appreciated.

I't think there would be anything wrong with the ps2 roster this year. But it could. Who knows. Best to wait and see.

Doubt it. I'm pretty sure that since the ratings don't line up they don't share the same rosters.

Re: What about the PS2 version?

Well I just ask because last year I used a spreadsheet to name rosters that was based off the 360 version of the game, and there were only 2 or 3 players who were on one system and not the other, so I figured they use the same rosters with some minor updates to the newer-gen versions since I'm assuming they get updates before the PS2 version of the game does in terms of rosters.

Would be nice to just hear about it from an EA Dev just so I can decide which to spend my money on...

I don't think any of the devs here even acknowledge the "last gen" game.

I wish they did, because to be perfectly honest, after playing the PS2 and 360 versions for each of the last three years, the PS2 version has blown the 360 version out of the water every year in terms of gameplay.

I agree. I originally bought the PS3 version of 08 and wow that was a disaster. I stopped playing after like 3 months cause I couldn't take it. I ended up getting a used copy of 08 many months later and played that up to the release of 09. I didn't once think about getting the PS3 version of 09, just went straight to the PS2 version. I just popped it in yesterday and played some of my dynasty. I won the 2010 Rose Bowl with my backup QB. The LG games are just so FUN. Something that the NG games haven't captured yet.
