Will ncaa10 be 1080i like Madden10?

I just wanted to know because that's the "main" reason 09 looked better on the 360 than the ps3.I would appreciate it if people don't say "oh it doesn't matter the 360 rocks or ps3 sucks that's why it looks better".

Well, not to say that the "360 rocks", because it doesnt. It has its share of issues, which include not having a good baseball game like the PS3 has with the Show(I want a PS3 just for the show, by the way!). But the 360 has better graphics than the PS3, which has alot to do with the quality of the picture. As for the question if it will be 1080i, I am not sure. But I am sure that 1080i pretty much is the samething as 720p, which NCAA 09 was. But your console should have a setting if you want the picture to be 1080i, 720p or 1080p. At least the 360 has a setting like that. I am not sure about the PS3. I have a 720p HDTV in my room, and NCAA 09 looked great on it. My console is set to 720p, by the way. If the PS3 has a setting like that, and its not set to your tv type, which I assume is 1080i, set it to 1080i, and see if it makes a difference with the quality of the picture on NCAA 09.

I would assume that NCAA 10 would be 1080i, along with 720p, but dont hold me to it...

Ncaa09 resolution on the back of the ps3 box was 720p so that was on easports.i've asked the same question about madden10 and ian stated it was 1080i this year.Even though your t.v. is 720p it probably supports 1080i as far as games go.easports next gen games have only been 720p besides FN3.I had a 360 back when ncaa08 was out and 1080i looked waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy better than 720p.I also have a t.v that said 720p but when playing games it was 1080i if the option was there meaning if the game was able to.The upscaler iis why the 360 games look better mostly ALL 360 games are 1080i which in "my" eyes looks better.

First 1080i is just upscaled 720p so it's not that big of a difference. Second, most games up to now have been 720p except for a couple of the huge games.

I said it was upscaled it my not a big difference but in "my" eyes it's definitely "noticeable".And for your info most games on "ps3"are 720p that goes back to my question is ncaa10 1080i this year.That's why ncaa09 looked better than the ps3 version not because of 360 being graphically better but what extra "option" it gave the 360 to be upscaled.Alls i'm saying is give me the option.

Must be in your eyes. Because when it comes to fast moving objects, such as football (as a sport), progressive is better than interlaced.

Russ i was wondering if you found out if ncaa football 10 was in 1080i for ps3?

Xbox has a built in hardware scaler with 10 mb of extra ram to help with that and AA. Most games are not running at 1080 or even 720 for that matter, they are being scaled. The xbox has a better built in scaler than the ps3.
