Alabama Doesnt Have Numbers on Helments

It isn't a non answer. He said they did it that way to preserve 60fps. Why would they fib about something like that? Sheesh, who even notices that anyway?? My goodness, you are looking at the players from the back anyways, not from the side. This isn't Tecmo Bowl.

they did it because they put a shortcut to just load 2 helmet textures and now they're painted into a corner. and don't have time to fix it, just how it took 4 years to get proper endzone art in the bowl games

if they dedicated time to fixing it they could, instead they waste time on flff

Look at it this way. When you're sitting down on a Saturday afternoon/nite in the fall watching Bama on the boob tube do you/can you even notice the #'s on the helmets when the players are in motion? Not really right?

Same principle. When the TV goes to slowmotion replay u may notice. Game does the same thing. Big whoop.

It's these little things that I don't understand. This is the "next generation" consoles, and yet it seems like they take 1 step forward, and 2 steps back. I haven't bought NCAA since it's gone next-gen and will continue not to buy it until they put out a product that truely is next-gen. And no the lack of numbers on a helmet is not the deal breaker, it's just the lack of polish and completeness.

Sorry EA, you dropped the ball yet again.
