DL Swim/Rip Moves

So i noticed that in the "Game Controls" menu, it has the Right analog stick, LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN, all as different ways to break a block, which ones do what? I assumed that only the Left and Right would do anything.

Re: DL Swim/Rip Moves

Basically it doesn't do a specific move but it just reacts to which way you move the right stick. For example, say I flick the right stick left then the d lineman will attempt to do whatever move the game wants it to.

Yeah. Just like the right stick moves on offense, I find the right stick moves on defense are wonky, unresponsive and vague.

Hope this is mostly an issue with the demo.

The spin move seems to be the most common for me, even when using a big DT that has no business doing it. This just feels like another feature that was thrown it with little thought put into it.

i wouldn't say little thought was put into, i like it because it's better than what we had previously and is definatly a step up.

I don't understand how it's a "step up." Pressure's better this year, but how is the control better when the game decides which move your D-lineman's gonna do?

The player should be in control.

The lb, and rb moves that were previously used for dl controls were horrible to me. Sometimes didn't work and delayed responses.

I personally have been dominating with the dl using the new controls. A few additions/tweaks I think it could be a great.
